About Jim

Jim Quinn, UCFA (Oxon), MSEd. A Former Lecturer and Assistant Professor in Fine Art, I have taught in the areas of Painting, Drawing and 2D-Design. I specialize and instruct in a classical, observational approach to these disciplines; exclusively at the University level. I was classically trained, graduated and received my MFA or BFA/MA equivalent (UCFA Oxon) from the Ruskin School of Drawing and Fine Art, University of Oxford, England. I also earned a Master’s degree in Art Education (MSEd) from Nazareth College in Rochester, New York. I have exhibited extensively throughout the United States and England. My paintings and drawings are included in private collections in the United States, England and China. Currently, I am a Foreign Cultural and Educational Expert in the P.R.China, teaching at Shandong University of Arts in Jinan, China; where I teach Portrait Drawing and Portrait Painting.
