Picture #15 – So, it’s really ridiculous! The main course of fish was proceeded by a young woman wearing a red sash and banging on a gong! Not sure what exactly she said but I was told it was a warm greeting to the guest of honor (it’s embarrassing) and I had to sign menus and sashes and lift the lid on the main course. Amazing Stuff! Gee! Also, to embarrass me even further, Mr. Liu found a guitar and made me play a song – luckily only one! By the way, like all cultures and countries doing shots of some sort of rice liquor was steadily consumed all night and many toasts – I toasted with my sesame seed water – very delicious!
