16 August 2017 – The following day, after the Terra-cotta Warriors, we take a flight to the city of Chengdu. The home of one of Mary’s favorite visits. The Wolong National Nature Reserve, China Conservation and Research Center for the Giant Panda.We were very fortunate to take a tour to this venue. We arrived early in the morning and left near or slightly after midday. By the time we were leaving, the crowds had thickened by 10 fold! Yet, another sight the Chinese people cherish and love.
Most of the lanes / walking paths were lines with bamboo, creating this wonderful arched tunnel. Of course, the diet of the giant panda.
