2017, August 9 (Posted) – Right! So, here we are on August 3rd (sort of…..) After 30 hours of travel time (18 hours of fly time, the remainder consisting of lay overs and driving time) here we are with my wonderful former student and advocate for teaching in China, Gong Wanyue, at 1:30am Beijing time, outside Jinan Yaoqiang International Airport readying to taxi to my humble apartment in downtown Jinan.
