2017, August 9 – So, after arrival and nearly 1 week of jet lag recovery time, tomorrow, August 10th, will begin our China Tour. However, during this week of recovery, Mary and I took a couple of side excursions in Jinan proper. Our first stop was at a place called Hero Mountain. I visited here, during the very beginning of my stay, with Chen Xuan, a student friend of mine. So, Mary and I took a taxi out to the Hero Mountain Cultural Market. It is really a cool place – an open market with everything and anything. Here’s a couple of pictures of a very short, excited ‘mei guo’ (American) entering the Market.
