2017/12/16 – This is very good overview photo of the art conference. It was attended by all the people seen in the final photo of the opening ceremony. The governor of Shandong Province, art critics, Deans from universities around the Jinan area and gallery administration. There was long and intense discussion about the state of art making in Shandong Province, specifically the need to move away from the more traditional forms of image making. The need for more experimental and nontraditional art forms need to be studied. Hey, what can I say – I was glad to oblige with some rather cutting-edge abstract painting.
