19 August 2017 – A very short train ride of one half hour and 41 miles. Approximately the same distance I travel to work – only it takes one hour and twenty minutes! Egads! We arrive in the city of Suzhou. A beautiful city, with wonderful old Chinese architecture, great shopping, fabulous walks in the streets – a city known for its landscape and landscape design and old beautiful gardens!
